Mercury in the 8th :
Mercury represents the intellect, memory, witty nature and mathematics as well. It takes the energy from Gemini by acting as a fun loving person to being a serious and dry Virgo which works mostly on the analytical part. Mercury in body rules Skin, hair, nails and our ability to breathe as well in the inner functional system. In relationships, Mercury represents the love interest, uncle and Friendships.
Mercury also says a lot of energy associations with hidden intellectual. You should be well versed in the areas of intellect when Mercury has its energy association with 6th, 8th and 12th houses.
Traumas associated with Mercury in the 8th house :
- Your skin or hair issues will be bringing some obsessive nature or it could also make you worry unnecessarily. You will have some worry with your external appearances of you since Mercury rules the areas which cover your body.
- Since Mercury also rules Nerves, there is some anxiety association in your chart. So, balancing your anxiety should always be a primary task. 8th house Mercury tend to give some anxiety.
- Since it says about uncles, you might have some traumas associated with your uncles. If he has manifested the positive 8th house energy, he will be the source of wisdom for you.
- Relationship wise, the persons you are attracting could have some sexual traumas. Or there could be some relationship based anxiety which you might keep on getting. If this placement is connected with Jupiter, there could be an inferiority complex associated with your partners as well.
- Handling of devices, gadgets, fear of socializing could be there inside you. If you are a Taurus rising/Ascendant or Aquarius rising/ Ascendant, the relationship based stress could amplify.
How to overcome such traumas ?
- You should start your gadgets for research. It doesn’t mean you have poor memory. It means that you can be researching more and love to know about hidden knowledge. Most of scientists have this placement.
- Try to create a better understanding of your partner’s trauma and fear before getting in to a relationship. The more you understand them, the more it will be better. The sooner you get in to a relationship, the more problem it will be.
